On Wednesday, November 18th, Rich Ihles from Reptile Adventures came to visit GMS. There were two different kinds of presentations. One presentation was for all sixth graders, and the other was a smaller group chosen to go by their science teachers for showing a personal interest in science. In the larger group, they were allowed to touch Teresa the snake on their way out. In the smaller group, students lined up and got a closer look at each reptile and got to hold the snakes. The students had a lot of questions and Mr. Ihles was able to answer all of them. Overall, students seemed to like the experience. Look at the slideshow for pictures of the presentations!
